Nice pics! Looks like you can get up to about 8 characters on the scribble strips. Hopefully they're readable when standing above it. And it looks like the strips themselves don't change color, only the buttons?

From what was posted before in another thread, I believe they are customizable.

Honestly for me personally the pics show the scribble strips are way too small.

Sure! In all honesty, in every way, this pedal is exactly what everyone is hoping it is--and more. In all the ways the III expands on the II, this expands just as fulfillingly on the MFC, combining the best features of that controller with the expanded control elements of the AX and FX8.
Customization and feature set for days; seamless integration with the HW (which anyone with a III can explore first-hand through the Foot Controllers menu); and the bomb-proof road-worthiness anyone with an FAS product is already familiar with.
No b.s.: the wait will be well, well worth it.

From what Cliff has recently posted I'm 99% sure that you can change the text. IIRC up to 10 characters for each switch.
