FC-12 LCD Mini-Display - all blank (all of a sudden)

Help!

After waiting for nearly 2 months to get a FC-12 here in Australia, I've had 1 day of use of it and now all the mini-displays are blank.
The unit works, except all the mini displays are blank, with no text.

I've tried an alternate XLR cable
I've tried connecting to both my AXE-III and FM3
I've tried a FC firmware re-load

The unit is brand new, never used. Imported by me from the USA, these things are impossible to get here.

Any ideas?

Reload the default layouts from the FC Controllers menu on the Axe III.

Did it not come with a quick start paper advising to reset layouts for FC-12?

As said above, you'll need to do that initially.

Did that. This happened without me changing any settings, literally in front of my eyes.

I'd suggest opening it and checking for any possible loose connectors.

Contact support of you're still stuck. They can probably suggest some diagnostic checks, short of sending it back, which hopefully won't be needed.

Thanks, yes I emailed last night and got a reply when I woke this morning - impressed with the timely response.

Ahhh, contrast settings!! Somehow get set to 0%. Do I feel silly.
