Favorite "combo blocks"?

What are your favorite "combo blocks" that you use? Not amp/cab but cool pair, trio or more of blocks to create a certain effect?

My Chorus 'usual suspects' group:

VolPan 2 and 3 set wet/dry balance, filter pre-filters the signal going to the MultDly, Chorus, and Pitch, which are all set 100% wet and sidechained with the 'dry' signal (which can include the flange if desired).

All is set up on a single controller pedal, so that it has three zones:
Dry (heel down)
Chorus (middle range)
Chorus + Flange (toe down)

YW. Controls are set up for 4 pedals and a pair of FC6es, but should adapt pretty easily to an FC12 and four pedals.

A few off the top of my head
Reverb - trem
Reverse delay - reverb - gate
Wah & all pass filter in parallel
2 multidelays in parallel setup for chorus - octochorus!

Besides fanciness of choruses and delays, my all-time favourite combo for a meat-and-potatoes ultra-tight modern metal rythm guitar tone is this one:



All three pre-amp:
1. an envelope-follower high-pass filter, rising the low cut from 40Hz to 90-100Hz when strumming hard.
2. A low-gain TS808 to spice up the input and rise signal level for...
3. ...the noise gate to radically cut all palm mute tails

Discovered this with the ultra and it's always been a no-brainer since.
