Factory reset

Hi all, I am running into problems with both my axe as the editor. I emailed support bit it is a Sunday. My guess is that the first thing they will try is a reset. Any harm ( no pun intended) in me resetting my axe 3 mark 2 ? Of course I’ll backup my presets.
then updating everything and see if it solves my problems. I’m not voiding any warranties or taking any risks right?

Bedankt man! Thanks for quick reply and being a reliable source. Tou can see the mess I am in in my post in the editor section. Today I fired it up and some presets were acting different again than when I turned it off yesterday. Reset it is...

Yes, start with a reset. Also, use another USB cable.

First I did reset system parameters. Then I did “clear all presets”. Both through the utilities menu. My presets are still there... I was assuming they would be gone. i did it twice, btw. Same effect. Was my expectation wrong? Or is it not working?

Edit: nevermind. Turned unit off and on and its all gone
