Extreme Pornograffitti Live 25 / Metal Meltdown

I bought this Blu-ray last week but I watched it only yesterday night, OMG what a concert!
This is the only band I was after in my younger years I've never had the pleasure to see live and I admit to have completly destroyed my original CD listening over and over Nuno's riff. He was extraordinary 25 years ago as he is now.

Nuno, even if he played with Rihanna ;)

and even if he doesn't use the black box

is still one of my three favorite guitar player

Ordered it when it got released. Came with the Bluray, DVD, and CD copies. Totally worth it. Great live show and there's a pretty lengthy documentary included on the Bluray which includes Tom Morello telling about the time he tried to get Gary Cherone to be the singer of his band. (Pre-RATM) Can't even begin to imagine what that would've sounded like. Lol

Huge Extreme fan here. Got the 2 red records and digital download. Want the blue ray now!

I think Nuno is playing a Marshall as usual on this one.

I saw Nuno on the Generation Axe tour with Steve Vai, Tosin Abasi, Zakk Wylde and Yngwie Malmsteen. Dude's good. Real good. I mean wicked awesome.

Love Pornograffitti. I remember I first saw Extreme in 1990 on a whim. I hadn't really heard them but I had read this interview with Nuno in Guitar for the Practicing Musician and he seemed like an interesting player. The band was playing at this small club in Rhode Island. One of the most energetic bands I've ever seen. Didn't really know the songs but they totally won me over. I remember they introduced their next single, More Than Words. Bought the album the next day and played it endlessly. The only other new album that competed with it at the time was Empire.

Unless there's an amp under the stage that we're not being shown, he's using his own signature amp from Randall

I guess I don't know if it is a Marshall, the signature Randalls, or even an ADA MP-1 backstage. I don't have the blue ray but I did see one of the songs on YouTube. I think I saw that the cabinet that is mic'd is a Marshall in between two Randall 4x12s with tape over the "Marshall". In the past he has had a Marshall head in back of the Randall rig with his RAT distortion always on as a boost. In the video I saw there is a side view off the stage and I thought I saw what could be this same setup. Of course I am speculating here and kind of wondering what he actually used. Maybe he even brought out the MP-1?? I am curious if anyone has any idea of what he actually played through for this.
