Hey,
I want to connect an external switch to my FC12.
I tried a sustain pedal but it only works while holding down the pedal.
What type or brand do you recommend?

Sustain pedals work fine. It’s just a normal momentary switch. You get to decide whether it performs like a momentary or latching switch.

Go to 'Setup' ('E' mini-knob), go to 'FC Controllers', hit Enter, 'Page >' to the 'Remote' tab, scroll down to the 'Ext. Switch Behavior' list, set the corresponding switch(s) to 'Virtual Toggle' for a physical momentary switch....

Leave it set to "Follow Hardware' if you want it to remain a 'momentary' switch, or if you are using a physical toggle switch.

Now I want that external switch to scroll through scenes.My scene increment is CC 42.
I'm not shure how to set this up, is it possible?

You don't need to use a CC command. The FC controllers aren't midi. You can leave that set to 'None' (default). Just set the desired FC switch, in the desired Layout, to that function.... Scene, Inc/Dec, .+1, etc....

I have 2 of these that I use. One is preset up/down the other is hold for pedal mode/ press for scenes and tuner on and off.
