Yeah, I never have to reach that low for guitar presets, but for bass it's become a must. The GEQs reach below 100hz. I see no reason why the PEQs couldn't be made to do the same.
I know one band is capable of doing it. I should've specified asking that functionality be added to the others.
Then perhaps a new dedicated “Bass PEQ” block might work, i.e. available for those who want it w/o affecting existing presets.
Why?
If you change the scale of an existing parameter, any existing preset that uses that parameter will have a different value.
Yep... 10 band parametric eq needed with more flexibility like the one in this request, ... and also a 28 band graphic eq needed too so that you can immediately dial in whichever band
Only if it would be optional as there would be a CPU increase.
The PEQ uses 0.6% CPU. Personally, I don't need 10 bands, but an extra (full-range) band at either end of the spectrum would be helpful, in my opinion.
5bands of full-range PEQ with shelving LP/HP filters and a 30Hz “rumble filter” for me, please — individually-controllable mute/unmute on all filters and a single “reset all filters” button. Would be lovely to be able to copy settings from one instance and paste to another.
