Not a Bug Expression Pedal only works about 10%?

I bought the expression pedal to go with my AXE FX II XL+, and I assigned it to a wah setting. However, when I move the pedal, up to half way it only moves the wah about 5% up, and then going the other half just brings it back down to 0%. No matter how I adjust it it always does this same thing. Seems like a simple, stupid problem, so please help me if i'm overlooking something. Thanks!

Make sure you calibrate the pedal. Look on Page 154 of the Axe FX II manual for instructions on what needs to be done. Once the Axe Fx is calibrated to the range of your pedal, you should see full range of effect.

As Chris noted, make sure you're connecting with a TRS cable.

TRS is required, so it should help.
