Expression Pedal Issue - Wah

I know this must be simple but here's the issue....

I have a wah swet up to auto engage. Works fine.

If I'm on a different patch and switch to the patch with the wah, it is already engaged at it's lowest setting.

If I step on it and bring it back to heel down it goes off and works just fine until I go to another patch and return.

What gives?

Save the preset with the wah bypassed and try it then. It sounds like you might have the preset saved with the wah set to 'on'.

Hi Scott. I'm having the same trouble, only I have the Wah block saved in the patch in a bypassed state. Any suggestions?

Solved! I was using a Mission SP-1 and had the XS-1 mapped to CC97 (wah bypass). I turned this off (CC#OFF) and it solved the problem. I have another question, but I'll start a new thread as I haven't read it asked anywhere else.
