Exciting Midi Question!

Not really. but seriously...

I just bought an Axe Standard and I need to connect it to my computer (Windows). I have a generic midi to USB adapter, but is that enough? I'm seeing some discussion on the forum about some MIDI interface devices like Uno or Midisport - I'm assuming they're necessary...? Are they?

What is the cheapest way to do this so I can use Axe Edit?

Cool, I have a gig in a few weeks that I want to use the axe for, and I need to hit the ground running when it comes to setting up my patches. The axe is on its way, I don't actually have it yet :)
