Implemented Exciter

The axe fx 3 is more than complete and gives me plenty of satifsaction... But...
Would be great to be able to use an exciter. Can't have the same effect with an EQ. Would really be great !
I don't know why it has not been developed yet. Cliff, could you see this ?

You have the Enhancer block and an exciter in the preamp section

The Preamp page of the Cab block has an exciter. You generally want the exciter late in the processing chain, to interact with the distortion, so by putting it in the Cab block, you're simulating putting it after the mic, as part of the mic pre. I think because of the name, people sometimes think the Enhancer block is an exciter, but it isn't.

While an exciter, strictly speaking, isn't a mic pre, it is used similarly to color the sound. So, you'll find it in the list of mic pre types on the Cab block's Preamp page.

Yes, the Axe-Fx II also has the Exciter type.

Im not finding any exciter in the afx3. Where in the cab block is this?
It would really be nice to have one of those in the cab block. (More the Aphex kind, not the BBE kind).
