EV2 polarity

I have a small midi controller that uses the following polarity for the expression jack:

Tip: Input
Ring: Output
Sleeve: Ground

I'm trying to connect a Fractal EV2 and it does not seem to work well, anyone know the EV2 polarity, nothing in the manual?
