Ah yes, barely coming in under the wire, this song was released in 1979, but was at 20 on the Billboard on 2/2/80. Here's the (Canadian!) band Streetheart. If you haven't heard of them, check them out.

This is my preferred version of 'Under My Thumb', better than the Stones, IMO. I think the extended guitar solo at about 3 mins really makes it.

How'd we go this long without mentioning Pat and Neil. I love that song.

One of the first bands I played in after getting out of the military in my
early 20s was fronted by a woman and we played that song. It was literally
my favourite song to play in the band. So. Much. Fun.
