Engl Savage 120 KT88 [Real, Axe Preset,Kemper Profile]

Sounds good man! Are you setting the axefx the same as the real amp? The real amp still has a bit more depth or overtone for lack of better word. The axe sounds great, just a bit sharper, and clearer. I'm curious if you messed around with the speaker tab if you could get closer.

1. Nope a bit diff ampsim setting compared to my Real Savage, about depth - true :D
2. Axe sounds a bit more tight and yea clearer - same tube models was set in ampsim what in my real Savage,
3. Nothing changed in speaker tab - TBH not evel LPF HPF was set, all what I want to try is set an axe really similiar sounding to my real amps and cab without tonematching. So my presets will be sounds 98% like my real amps and miced cab, dont expect mixready, holy grail, etc tones just great RAW tones fucking close to real amps :D What You can do with them depend on You that's all.

Stay Metal!

THX. And we both seem to love the SAVAGE a lot. ;-) Best metal amp, IMHO.
Best Metal Amp is my own SinAmp :D Only one was made and only for Me: mix of engl, 5150, slo100, and mesa DR :D Anger channel is my fav :D hahaha, built in decimator gstring II, Maxon, Spring Reverb etc :D Killing machine :D

Stay Metal!

Differences are relatively small, depending on our standards (that is always an evaluative judgement, which means it relies on a "standard"). That said considering nuances and within the mix sounds I think I prefer axe here.

More specifically kemper profile seems to be more "distant" within the mix. Hard to describe. But axe seems more present. I may even prefer it to real amp in this particular case.
