Emulate Fender Rumble Sound?

Hello, my people,

I had been practicing with a Fender Rumble 25 for about a year. Recently, I picked up an FM-3 and a Headrush FRFR-112 on Craigslist and it has displaced the Rumble's spot on my dresser.

With all these fancy amps to choose from, it probably sounds silly that I want to have the Rumble sound available but I miss having it. It's crisp and punchy and I'm having trouble dialing that kind of sound in. (I still have a lot to learn about FM-3.)

Can anyone help me get in the ballpark?

Thanks,
Jamie

I'm starting to get there. I might be realizing that the sound I'm looking for is similar to DI. I added a compressor block in front of an EQ block, added a reverse-scoop to boost mids, and it's getting in the ballpark. (In other words, I have no amp, no cab.)

I have been playing through a rumble 40 myself and I have been working on the same thing. Try a cab bay it’s self. That sounds good to me
