They were using the "box 'o car horns" at the backyard party shows long before Gene and "Daddy Long Legs" came around.

Surprised he hasn't claimed to have created the Axe FX yet...

I made this one a while back and it worked well. IIRC there are two modifiers that are attached to ext1 and ext2 (both expression pedals.) One is for bringing the volume up and the other for the slow drop in pitch.
The sudden cut when the bass comes in was achieved by selecting the next preset, which was one of my EVH types.

Are you not getting any sound? It should be silent until you bring up the volume with ext1 being controlled by an expression pedal. If it's something else, provide more details and I'll try to help you out.

I believe Swedish Chef made a preset a long time ago.

I tweaked your preset because I use a single pedal.
Scene 1 is silent. The horns swill start when switching to scene 2 (scene controller replaces Ext1). Scene 3 starts the dive. Scene 4 ends it.
