Easiest MIDI to Program (Other than MFC)

Other than an MFC, what is the easiest MIDI controller to program?

I only need something to hold me over until the AX8 comes out. Needs an expression pedal and like 6 buttons for scene and preset changes. Maybe a MIDI MOOSE with a BOSS 500? Would that be easier to program than an FCB1010?

I have a couple fcb1010 and there is free pc editor. It's extremely easy.

Fcb1010 +1, check out also The UNO chip with better firmware. Or Eurekaprom that's preprogrammed for the axe fx.

All things in my research and from you guys keeps pointing back to the FCB. I'm going to go with that. I just found one for like $75. Can't go wrong at that price.

+1 for FCB1010, I use it with the EurekaProm 2.0 on FA mode. You can pretty much have it all figured out and configured in a day or two, just takes some getting used to but it's not too bad at all.
