Dweezil on AMS

Thanks, that was a nice read.

The "dynamic doubler" Dweezil's speaking of sounds interesting; somebody's got an idea how to approach this on the Axe-Fx?

I have a good auto double tracker that is using two random LFO's to get a natural effect, I bet I could replace one of them with an envelope follower...

I'll report back!

Have not tried it, but just thinking about Dweezil's description, it has to be a 100% wet delay on one channel somewhere in the chain (probably after the amp, unless you use two blocks) with very low starting value of delay time (< 10ms) and no feedback. Then the envelope controller is used to dynamically modulate the delay time, also resulting in pitch modulation of the delayed signal.

To the lab... :)

Love the Dweez. Glad to see he is keeping his father's legacy alive. Great player in his own right. Also great to see such a progressive player seeing FAS as the future of guitar.
