Ducking Delay

Forgive my ignorance of cool things, but I recently discovered the "ducking" delay and what it does. Can anyone elaborate on the various block parameters and your thoughts on what and why you do what you do on the ducking delay? Also, is there anyway do do a ducking reverb in the AX8?

You can have a higher mix of delay for the repeats that don’t get in the way while playing because it ducks.
