Not really. It misses some stuff g* finds, and it has its own UI for YouTube search results, probably some others I don't know about.

The diffs aren't that significant to me, if it found what I want, but they might be to some people.

I use startpage.com, which claims to be google without the evil parts.

Oh, that's a shame! I don't use any addon, I simply added it as a search engine in Firefox.
