I usually use the svt sim set to really clean with the 4x10 cab impulse and then something over the top dirty like the 5150 amp for the dirty one. I'll pan the to their own inputs and record them on their own channels. I've gotten some great recorded bass tones this way. I'd like to see some more bass sims so i can get a few different flavours.

Although I think I've used Rectos more in the past for the dirty amp. And I use different cabs for the bass side of it. Another one I tried briefly is running a 2nd clean SVT but with a drive block in front. Didn't like it as much.


Agree on wanting some more bass amps though. :)
