DSL40C Stereo Amp Partner

I iam curious as to what amp, head or combo, y'all use or think would match up well with a 40C in stereo config with an FX8 MKII in 4 or 7 cable setup. I'm toying around with 6100, Mesa JP2, MK5 35, and even a Peavey Audition Chorus (a whole other project!). I am thinking about audio and live applications.

That Mesa JP2C is a killer sounding amp. Of the ones you mentioned I would lean towards that if money were no obstacle.
 
The Mark V 35 would make the most sense in my opinion. It seems to be the most versatile of the bunch, would give you lots of options with your Marshall. Personally, I run a clean amp and an edge-of-breakup to med/low breakup amp setup when running stereo. To my ears it provides a broader, more interesting stereo image with the contrasting amps rather than similar amps.
