I play an electronic drum kit (Roland VAD 506) and generate a midi track. I do corrections to my timing and beats in midi, then I use Superior Drummer 3 for the drum samples and for mixing.

The Roland interface generates one midi track with each pad assigned to different notes including things like rim shots and open/closed hi hats. I also generate an audio track for reference while playing each part. It's nice because Superior Drummer 3 recognizes each note without having to reassign anything. My kit is very good at accurate triggering as well which makes cleaning up the midi way easier.Do you generate a MIDI track for each pad/trigger?
Nice! I think I like playing drums more than guitar now. I never thought that would happen. That's a NICE kit. Wow.
I am still working on/playing through an old TD10 kit.
That's a lotta cymbals!Superior Drummer 3 is a safe bet. I prefer to record everything live and then edit the MIDI in the grid editor if needed. EZdrummer 3 also has great new features when it comes to MIDI editing.

I see you have a Pearl Mimic Pro module. How do you hook up all those cymbals and extra pads?Superior Drummer 3 is a safe bet. I prefer to record everything live and then edit the MIDI in the grid editor if needed. EZdrummer 3 also has great new features when it comes to MIDI editing.

I use two KLOTZ AY1 splitters for cymbals. The kit is designed so that everything can be operated with one module. It works smoothly.I see you have a Pearl Mimic Pro module. How do you hook up all those cymbals and extra pads?
Yeah, that's an amazing one. I love Rooms of Hansa too.I just bought the SDX Rock Foundry (Bob Rock) for Superior Drummer 3 and have optimized my Roland TD17 kit. Holy shit this expansion pack was worth it. Sounds so frigging good.
I was listening to the Hansa demos just a little while ago! Great pack also. Might grab it later onYeah, that's an amazing one. I love Rooms of Hansa too.
