Drive Block "Low Cut" tone control

The Drive Block "Low Cut" tone control has lost its "Hz" range, and instead only displays "1" through "10" with no indication of the frequency.

You know there's also a graphic EQ on the drive block, right?

Of course it depends on what you're trying to achieve as the Low Cut is pre-Drive and EQ is post.

Why though? It doesn’t make any sense. They should both be numbered or both note the frequency.

Especially on the drive block this adjustment is best done by ear. Chances are you’ve already adjusted the amp block and Cab Block filters.

Not to be a pain, but then why are there real units on anything?

Because having some idea of the frequency and amount of a boost or cut, for instance, gets you where you want to go a lot faster if you have some idea of what you're looking for in those terms.

It also teaches you what for instance a 100hZ high-pass sounds like for next time.

That control is not in Hz because it doesn't set a frequency directly. It impedance scales the capacitors in the input network. Some networks have multiple break frequencies.
