Messing around with some JP-esque tones, going for The Astonishing's massive rhythm and soaring lead tones.

This is single tracked, but with a slight chorusing effect since many of Petrucci's rhythms on this album have chorus on them.

Love so many parts of this album but keep coming back to this overture. Enjoy!

 
Actually, it's a tone match of the beginning of "Our New World" that I then EQd a good bit to finesse it!
 
Sounds great Cooper, not my preferred song and album but your tone sounds spot on
