Dr Z

I had a Remedy and it did one thing REALY well! Percussive and in your grill. Sold it to fund other tone pursuits that were more flexible see my video of the Remedy;

I was looking to pick up a Z Wreck. Any thoughts and that amp?

From the research I have did so far, it seems like it will require either pedals or an attenuator to get a goot amount of gain. I am a rock guy through and through and am told that it does rock really well.

I haven't played a Wreck, but yes - I think it will need to get loud to get a lot of gain out of it. I have a couple of attenuators, but I just don't like playing amps as well with them (I've used them with a Rt. 66 and and Carmen Ghia). How much volume do you need? If you can live with just pedals for gain, take a look at the M12 - that's supposed to be a great pedal platform. Or, if you want a Master, a Maz (Jr or Sr) might be a good choice. I run my Z's just on the edge of breakup and use pedals for more gain and lead boosts. They work great that way.

By the way, if you haven't, check out the Z boards (Home | Z-Talk)
