download new preset banks?

why did we have to download new preset banks for the II for the new firmware? and why wasn't it stated in the new firmware download package thing that we needed to do so...? i only figured out that we needed to via reading the forum.... just curious.

i've actually figured out how to upload the new banks.... it's said it uploaded the banks in axe-edit but i didn't get a confirmation on the axe fx II screen itself, it just did all the uploads on the preset called "backline"


can someone confirm if i did this correctly and is there a way to verify that the new banks are on the axe fx II/ via the axe fx II screen it self, or axe-edit?


also what are the new updates on the new patch banks? why did why need to download them? etc... thanks in advance! -mg

the new firmware has features that aren't utilized in the old presets. you can get garbage settings in those old presets.

don't forget to do a system reset on the axe after you upload the banks!
