Most of the samples and presets I've heard for this song don't really capture the rhythm guitar accurately. So, I tried matching it myself. The rhythm guitar in the studio version is actually comprised of two separate tones panned hard left and right. I matched both.

I looped a section of the song where the rhythm guitars are isolated. It's the section that repeats the intro later in the track(right after the solo). To capture the right channel, I simply panned the sample hard right and performed a match, then did the same for the left channel. The sample above is comprised of two separate presets.

Are you using a regular factory Cab, or do you have a special user Cab ?

I tried 'em and without the specific Cab you're using they're a buzzy fizzy mess ....

Nothing like the sample you recorded above.

Cool. It also bears mention that this was tweaked using a Les Paul(Humbuckers).

Good to know too ! I've got a "super" Strat w/ a Hot PAF in the bridge, so hopefully it will translate !

Also, what type of Cab is in your custom IR ? Just curious ....

It's an Orange 4x12 with Celestion Vintage 30's.
