Just wanted to know any feedback on the QSC power amps. I know there are several models to choose from depending on how many watts of power you need. How do they compare with matrix or crown or carvin? thanks for any help.
From what I can tell you the QSC amps are very good. Depending on the model you get of course.
Matrix is the best for the axe fx world as most will tell you here.
The Carvin Ts100 is ok, from what I have seen its not powerful enough?
Crown is good again depending on which model. They can get super expensive!
Im currently running an ART SLA2 into a 120w 2x12 cab. It sounds just fine for me.
100w per channel at 8ohms, 560w bridged. Im using it in stereo into each speaker at 8ohms. Remember for live use it can be mic’ed plus you can send to front of house with a cab ir in your patch.
