Wish Distortion /Overdrive

I used to have a BE-OD and the Dirty Shirley as well. Didn't see any point for them with the Axe and the actual amp models. What would the need for an "amp in the box" type pedal be when you've got the actual amp model ? If all you've got is a clean Fender type amp, then yeah, a pedal to give it some Marshall style drive totally makes sense, but you've got like 50 flavors of Marshall/Marshall inspired amps in there already
