sorry to resurrect an old thread but i recently noticed the same issue. a horizontal white line occasionally popping in and out. i'd like to ask you if you have noticed this issue again after you changed the power strip?

No more issue after replacing the power strip...coincidence???

Mine seems to have gone away. I never did actually open the unit and wiggle cables to see if it was just a connection issue but I had glued all the ribbons cables on the outside of the connectors for durability reasons some time ago. Note that I haven't moved my gig rack in a few months.

Mine was on screen permanent. Once booted, you really could not see it very clearly, but on boot up it was unmistakable.
