Digi 002R SPDIF Reamp I/O setup

I upgraded to OSX 10.5.5 from 10.4.11, and had to upgrade to Pro Tools 7.4.2. I think the PT upgrade messed with my I/O setup, because what used to work doesn't work anymore and the Ultra's SPDIF output is no longer picked up by the 002R's SPDIF in.

To clarify:

Dry signal is recorded on Audio track 1. Its output is the 002R's SPDIF L/R OUT
The SPDIF signal is sent to the AXE-FX's SPDIF IN
Axe-FX's input is set to digital
the wet signal is sent from the AXE-FX's SPDIF out to the 002R's SPDIF L/R IN
Audio Track 2's input is the 002R's SPDIF IN, and its output to my KRK monitors on ANALOG 1/2

What's weird is that the SPDIF in of the Ultra is definitely picking up the SPDIF out of the 002R. I haven't extensively messed with the I/O setup yet, but my instinct tells me that's where the problem lies.

If anyone here uses a 002R and their Axe-FX for a SPDIF reamp setup, do you stick with the Digidesign default I/O setup, or do you change things around? If so, how?
