Differences between AX8 and AXE FX II XL+

I currently have an XL+ and obviously love it. I am considering purchasing an AX8 for practices, or to just jam in my room with headphones. I have read about it on the Fractal site but I just want to make sure that I am understanding it correctly.

I can only run 1 amp and 1 cab correct?

Are all other effects the same?

Can I run 1 output to poweramp and real cab and the other to a FRFR just like the XL?

Any other differences that I should be aware of?

Also, can I use my MFC101 to keep things consistent?

Thanks in advance!

Correct.

It's not 1:1. You can't run as many instances of most blocks, for example. But it's very close.

Yes.

You could but a lot of what makes the AX8 amazing is the built-in switches and how they work. They give you easy access to the X and Y states of every block as well as block state on one switch. Something you can't do with the MFC.
