JC Bach, the son of one JS Bach, taught Mozart how to compose when the guy was 8 years old. That's nuts. His another son, Karl Philipp Emanuel Bach (CPE Bach) was also a prominent composer at the time.

So Bach is not just responsible for his own immense contribution to music, he (indirectly) gave us Mozart as well.
