DI volume level question

This question has troubled my mind for sometime, so I have to ask.

I've seen DI tracks from other ppl, that look to have higher level, that my DI tracks do, when looking them in my DAW. For example: I have purcased Fremens Q2.0 Presets package, that includes some of his DI tracks. His DI tracks has a lot higher Level, that what I got from my guitar. I happen to know, that i have a higher output pickups, than Fremen so it can't be the reason...

Is there a setting for adjusting the DI levels or can some one explain why there can be so much difference between DI tracks Levels?

DI levels don't matter. you want exactly what you record dry to go back out exactly the same way. if the Wet sounds great, then don't worry about the dry. if you were to manually turn the Dry up later, the Wet would be completely different.

as to why? no idea. but it really doesn't matter.
