DI Models using Mic+DI method

Greetings. I'll be starting to shoot my own IRs and I'm about to buy a DI for that purpose. There's a list on the wiki:

Suhr ISO Line Out Box
Pro Co DB1
Whirlwind Director
Whirlwind Direct2
ART ZDirect
Behringer Ultra-DI DI100
Behringer Ultra-G GI100 (with cab emulator off)
Behringer Ultra-DI DI600P

There's a good price difference between those, so I'm curious to know if a Behringer DI-100 would wield worse results than let's say a Suhr ISO Line.

Anyone could chime on that matter?

Anything with the name Behringer on it makes me nervous. I know their QC has improved, but still.

Personally, I would look at something from Radial but I haven't looked at what is required for capturing IRs.

I'd go with either a Countryman 85 or a Little Labs Redeye 3D.

I was looking to the pictures of the Countryman 85. Does it have the speaker thru?

I'm thinking about getting one too, just for fun. My IR's would most likely suck anyway, but I cannot resist this sight on our place: (pic)

Do the Behringers really work?

We use the Rupert Neve Designs RNDI for our cab packs. Don't forget to also pick up a standalone phantom power supply.

+1 on the RNDI.
Excellent DI for MIC+DI.

But if you're on a budget, the Behringer Ultra -G will give you a decent result.
I used it on my first CabPacks, but have now started to re-shoot them with the RNDI.
