Decay/Sustain Problems

I’m running into issues where the signal just fades out earlier than it does through on amp. I was playing a gig, AX8 through the PA, JH Audio IEMs, and during a quiet section, I was losing the sustain in the AX8 but I could tell the guitar itself was still resonating. This doesn’t happen with an amp. Any ideas?

Was the amp louder than your AX8 was?

It is because you are on IEM’s. There is no signal physically hitting the guitar from an amplifiers onstage speaker.

As state above, input gate. Easy to test, turn the Threshold all the way down and see if the sustain returns.
