Not a Bug DAW clock sync issue

Midi baby > FM3 midi in

Clock sync to midi baby in ableton, the tempo displayed on the FM3 doesn't match ableton.

90 BPM DAW > changes from 125, 128 130 bpm on FM3
115 BPM DAW > 153, 155, 150 on FM3.

I get similar oddities with clock sync from Logic too.

maybe worth noting same connection and setup with my FX III works fine

Same result in Logic. Using mode - Pattern - quantized clock start based on pattern link

FM3 tempo set to 50 bpm - logic project tempo is 110. Start project, FM3 jumps around but settles in around 160bpm.

same results in ableton. Any correlation of 50+110=160?

I tested the files you sent to Bryant and I had no trouble. I'm using Logic 10.5.1, but I don't think anything has changed in how it handles sync.

My suspicion is that the issue lies in that particular interface on that particular computer. You might try creating a clean config in Audio MIDI Setup. (Remove all USB MIDI/Audio devices first.)

Thanks for the update. I've never had any custom entries in the audio MIDI setup. Am I overlooking something ?

I can run the same layout and presets with ableton/logic clock sync without issue on my FX3.
