Critique my mixes

Hey there, I am pretty new to the world of recording/mixing and would love some outside opinions/help. This forum has been such a helpful, supportive place and I’ve learned so much from other users on here. Please give me some advice on how to soften transients in my mixes. I feel like the guitars are too "direct sounding" if that makes any sense. I would also appreciate any advice on how to make the drums sound not so "upfront" in the mix. How do I go about posting audio samples for critiquing? Thanks!

You can go to https://soundcloud.com & make an account, then upload your mix. It will give you a link & you can copy that & then come back here & when you reply in this thread click the Media tab & paste the link in there. That should post your mix here.
