Won't Fix Copy/paste entire tab of amp settings

The number of detailed power amp, power supply, speaker impedance curve, in/out EQ, etc. settings is awesome if you want to 'deep tweak' or even 'Frankenstein' amps.

Could we have a Copy/Paste settings feature similar to the copy/paste button in the layout editor, to make it quicker and easier to glom the power amp, power supply, speaker curve, in/out EQ, etc. settings from another amp to use as a starting point for 'deep tweaking' or just to try out, say, a Plexi power amp on a IIC+ preamp, or other normally impossible combinations? It seems logical to skip the 'authentic' and 'ideal' tabs (IOW, use the preamp/control interface as the static part, since the knob counts/functions vary a lot from amp to amp) and enable it for all the rest, which seem to have more or less the same 'deep tweak' sort of functions.

My digital mixer (XR-18) has a similar function that is very useful. When you copy a specific channel, a drop-down menu gives you the option of individual 'pages' that you can include, EQ, Comp, Gate, Gain, Etc, or 'All'.

Sometimes I need to setup another vocal mic channel. I can copy just what I need, and leave other 'pages' untouched.

Could be cool to get a 'drop-down' menu and be able to select any combination of specific Axe-Edit 'pages' when copying any existing block (or channel?).

There would be some things to sort out... Like when pasting into an empty block in the grid, verses and existing block. Maybe an option to have the un-selected 'pages' retain the current settings of the destination block/channel (if pasting into an existing block), or reset to current defaults for an empty slot, or even an existing block.

Could also help with Amp resetting after updates? Pick what you want to be unchanged (Basic, Advanced, EQ, etc...), and reset the rest to the new defaults???

Adobe Lightroom does something like this where you select the copy command and then a page with a list of all parameters show with checkboxes next to them allowing you to select what is actually getting pasted.

1. Save the specific amp block setting to your library.
2. Load the amp block setting from your library into another preset

I think you're not understanding the request.

The first issue with your solution is that it loads a full block, not just the channel in use.

On deep tweaks, is it better to commit the amp block to the saved library?
