Copy output 1 or output 2?

I’ve been using the last block in my layout split into output 1 for FOH and output 2 through a matrix into a floor wedge. Other than dedicated output level and EQ is there any benefit to using output 2 and not using the “copy output 1” parameter for output 2?

In your setup, probably not.

In fact, since the Matrix takes 1/4" as well as XLR inputs, you could use only Output 1 if you don't need to manage the levels differently. Send XLR to FOH and 1/4" to Matrix.

When you use the copy function you still have the separate volume knob for output2 on the front plate and the global output EQ #2. The signal gets copied before these.
