Very cool. Thanks for sharing... I honestly had no idea of his background. Ghost Busters was the first thing I ever heard from him.
 
I imagine I am not the only one who sees Tim Pierce as a extremely accomplished and diverse Guitar player.

This episode of his youtube stuff was very cool imho. Ray Parker jr kicks a**. Quite the player and arranger.




I watched about 1/2 this morning. Interesting stuff for sure. Traded my $800 sax to a $50 guitar :)
 
Thanks for the link. Cool stuff indeed. I never realized Ray was a guitarist. He's got some great stories. I'll be looking forward to seeing the follow-up videos.

Killer. I too started this way, but in Eastern Virginia. I was had just turned sixteen and got hired to play with a local, very popular band (mostly older guys). We never made the big time, but we made a lot of money, opened for many (or backed many) big name acts. We recorded in Philly at the famous Sigma Sound Studios...

It was a different world back then. Thanks for sharing!
