Converting EP1-L6 to work with Fractal MFC

I've been asked about this many times. Mission sent me a L6 pedal by accident. They tell everyone it cannot be modified to work with the MFC, but that's a lie.

Here is how you do it:

Note the notch highlighted by blue arrows:

Wire on the bottom is the green, black and red are higher, as seen in picture.

Basically two wires a tied together originally, you separate them as shown and it works.

Thanks Luke!

Also, for those with a little technical skill and appetite, its cheaper to just by the Dunlop Crybaby pedal, also die-cast solid metal just like the Mission pedals that sell anywhere between $112-$130. You can buy the Dunlop Crybaby for about $70-$80 on the street and just gut the electronics so that its nothing more than a passive expression pedal.

A non-functioning Crybaby can be had for $25 if you are gutting it.

Most wah pots have a different taper on them. You might need to swap it out for a linear taper pot to get smoother adjustments in the Axe. You can compensate some by adjusting the modifier graph shape in the axe, but linear pots are recommended.
