That was HILARIOUS.Thats their thing... this interview cracked me up how clueless the girl was...
I listened to a few of their songs on youtube, and for some reason they remind me of these guys, just a heavier version. Which is pretty awesome IMO.
When that bass line starts on Pinnacle to the Pit and all the stuff in my house starts to rattle...hell yea.
They all run AFII rigs now.Yeah, that's some thunder. Axe-Fx I guess?
I dont like them at all...Some of their stuff reminds me of Blue Oyster Cult. Don't like the evil kind of devil stuff though.
These guys remind me of Ghost for some reason.
I don't get it. Why was it funny? Just cause she didn't know the band? That was HILARIOUS.
Papa's dry humor answer about their outfits kicked it off. So much of what they do is tongue in cheek like that.I don't get it. Why was it funny? Just cause she didn't know the band?
The BOC influence is obvious and welcome. A tremendous band still at it. Saw them last year at the ramblin man fayre in the UK. First time for many years and they were superb. Donald is such a monster player.
Consider this from the spectres album
the style and melodic interplay is very similar to ghost.
I think ghost are a breath of fresh air. They aren't afraid of melody, the songs are superbly constructed with surprising turns that just work.
The axe guitar and bass sounds are great and the thoughtful nature of the lead work a joy.
Whilst I can appreciate the technical dexterity of much modern metal, you can't beat a good tune.
Seeing them at the London palladium next month and much looking forward to it. I'm 47 and this is the first new band to have really caught my eye for a long time....despite the masks and stuff.
