Concerns about over-heating

Given the size and power of the unit, has there been any issues with it over-heating during extensive use? I realize there exists a degree of ventilation given the holes on the sides of the unit. Just curious if it is being used for an extended period of time in a rack case.

Thanks.

I forget the exact numbers but the fan is only needed if the case temperature reaches something like 120 deg. That said we do not condone disconnecting the fan. Mine is only disconnected because it actually doesn't have a fan because it's hooked up to an emulation pod.

Emulation pod? Do tell.
