Compression knob settings

How do you guys set this knob?

I know it affects multiple parameters, what are they?

I turn it to zero in every single one of my presets. High gain sounds with insane dynamics. Win.

Now many high gain tube amps feel too stiff and compressed to me, you can't dial it out.

You turn it to zero?? I increase it on almost every preset....

I increase it as well... With an amp/cab setup I typically do 25-35% depending on the amp.

Yeah no joke, I turn it to zero in every single preset.

I love the full on dynamics.

Then again I also use the boost parameter turned on for all dirty sounds.

specifically because of the way it compresses feel versus the comp knob.

10-30% on cleans/crunchs and 70% on really heavy metalll tones ^^

I feel like it affects feel more than dynamics...it's not like a compression pedal. (Not saying that you think it is)

Most of what we perceive as feel is dynamics.

For me it sounds far less compressed when lowered, I mean why call it compression if it's not effecting dynamic range.
