Hi friends,

From time to time I like the thing that the tube screamer does eq wise, especially with high gain amps. But I don't want to get any overdrive form this pedal, because I plan to use it with both clean and overdriven amps.

Do you have any drive or eq block that will do this? Do you know which mid frequencies are boosted?

I would guess that the low/high cut in the amp block would be applied after the preamp stage, whereas the filter block would be in front of the amp. Applying EQ in different stages of the signal chain will have different effects on tone and behavior of the elements that follow...
 
I think the low cut switch is before the pre, while the parameter is after. I could certainly be wrong about that though...
