Comparison FW 18.10 - FW 19beta2

I didnt´t like FW FW 19 Beta1 - there was gap in the lower mids, which I didn´t like. Cliff said, he hasn´t changed anything to beta2? Hhm...... But it sounds now much better!

But I´m still interested in the new drives - so I decided to make a short recording of my Standard Sounds, which I use live one stage every week.

All Sounds played with Humbucker Strat:

•Plexi 100 W High -Humbucker and Hals SC, CabIR Marshall AXRaw Mix 17
•Vibro AB - Cab Factory 6 (SM57)
•Spawn OD 1 - CabIR Raw Mix 17 (with SplitHumbucker)
•JVM OD 1 green + Tubescreamer Cab Diezel V3 V30 EN 08
•VH4 silver 3.Kanal - Cab Diezel V3 V30 EN 08
•Vox AC 30 Cab Dax 14 Mix I+R
•800 Marshall, + Drive - CabIR Raw Mix 17

I did no reset, but I bypassed the amps two times (Default) and did copy my Settings from x to y.

I´ve forgotten to Play the Plexi 1oo W High with the tubescreamer - an absolut Killersound with a lot of attack.


So the new Firmware has got a lot of "colours" with the G3 Drives - endless fun........Thanks!

i actually like both of them man, but do hear the gap you are speaking about in 18.02......will update tomorrow to the beta 19.

Yes, it´s the green Channel. Tomorrow evening (in Germany) I can load it up. Which one do you like more - 19 or 18.10?
