Compact/Low profile XLR cable?

I just ordered the following cable with an adjustable 90 degree connector.

I'm hoping this does the trick.

I tried this, but you will notice that it doesn't angle the correct way. It was unusable for me, which is why I did this.

Maybe some with a right angle? Only if it is facing the "right" way...

No.... I bought a right angle XLR, but it didn't work because it ONLY angled from the bottom, in other words, I would have had to elevate the FC up a few inches off the ground for the right angle XLR jack to work.

I was able to get mine turned the right way. What was wrong with the angle on the one you originally got? I like the idea of making my own, but I don't trust my soldering abilities that much. lol

it points straight down into the ground, or the pedalboard. No way for it to work that way. I dont trust mine either but so far so good! and if it breaks I can use anything they have laying around when at a gig

Gotcha. Mine was also pointed down when it arrived, but I was able to open up the connector and turn the barrel to the position I needed. So far it works, but I'll keep carrying a spare just in case.
