Comfortably Numb

I just tried a few modifications to the factory patch for Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb called "Mr. Floyd", to make it sound more like what can be heard in the Pulse live album :

- In the amp block, change the tonestack type to "Blues". Do not change any other setting.
- In the drive block, change the drive type to "Tube Drv". Do not change any other setting

Voila !

Add a pitch block (whammy type with local poly mode) in front of everything else in place of the wah block if you want the whammy effect at the beginning of the track, and there you have it.

This makes the patch sound more bassy and creamy, as in the recording.

Oh, and if you want the very first chord to sound exactly as on the record, hit the F# on the 6th string when playing the B5 chord on strings 5,4,and 3... But don't hit the 6th string again when playing the B5 afterwards, especially in the second bar with the whammy effect.

A word of caution : I haven't tried these new settings at stage volume yet.

Now you guys try it and tell me what you think !

Cheers,
David
